Important Information Regarding the Dues Policies and Procedures
Everyone receives an HOA Statement around November 1st for $40.00. If you'd prefer to receive a paper copy by snail mail, please Contact us. Payment is due by December 1. If you feel that this due date creates an undue hardship for you, please drop us a line and let us know your circumstances. The dues have been $40 per year for many years. It is the homeowners' responsibility to let the HOA know when there is any change in email addresses or management companies.
Nov 1 - HOA Dues notices are sent out
Dec 1 - HOA Dues must be received by HOA
Dec 15 - Late notifications mailed to non-paying members
Dec 15 - Late fee of $40 assessed against non-paying member
Dec 31 - Lien filed with Washington County against the homeowners property for HOA dues, late fees and lien fees: $250 must be received by the HOA to have the lien removed
It's important to note that once a lien is filed, it must be cleared prior to the sale or refinance of the property. It can also have a negative effect on credit reporting and future financing opportunities.
